MLB players. Above all else, Dr. Gold prides himself in making sure his treatment is customized to meet his patients’ personal needs and to ensure that they can return to activity as soon as possible.
Dr. Gold received a
Bachelor of Science from the
University of Maryland, College Park. He then earned his
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from
Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia.
After completing his residency, Dr. Gold went on to complete a 3-year comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency at
Virtua West Jersey Hospital in Voorhees, New Jersey. During his training, Dr. Jason Gold acquired extensive experience in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery and completed over 1,500 surgical procedures, including flatfoot reconstruction, fracture repair, ankle joint replacement, bunions, and arthrodesis/fusion procedures. By the end of his residency, Dr. Gold had even served as chief resident and worked under the direction of a world-renowned foot and ankle orthopedic surgeon during the final year of his training. Dr. Gold has special interests in pediatric foot care, sports medicine, flatfoot reconstruction, and trauma.
Dr. Gold currently serves on the staff at
Bethesda Hospital East,
Bethesda Hospital West, and Boca Regional Hospital. Dr. Gold has helped countless pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients make a full recovery from even the most complex of conditions.
Away from the office, Dr. Gold has stayed active in the community by educating children about medicine and their bodies. Dr. Gold has served on multiple mission trips that provide medical services and clubfoot care to children in underprivileged countries, including San Salvador in El Salvador, as well as Boca Raton and Delray Beach, Florida.
Dr. Jason Gold is one of the few Palm Beach County foot and ankle specialists who has been certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Approximately only 15 podiatrists are certified in the entire county by this prestigious board.
